Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette

The perfect dressing for salads, roasted veggies, or grain bowls.  The best part is that you probably already have all of the ingredients in your pantry!


1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar

2 garlic cloves

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp honey

Black pepper to taste

3/4 cup Olive Oil


Using a mini food processor, immersion blender, or whisk*, blend all ingredients except the olive oil.  Once ingredients are incorporated, slowly drizzle in olive oil while still blending/whisking.  Adjust salt and pepper to taste.  Makes one cup of dressing.  Store in a mason jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.


*If you're whisking by hand, you will need to mince or grate the garlic cloves first.

Did you know?

Using a food processor or immersion blender to make salad dressing makes it extra creamy, as it emulsifies the olive oil into the other ingredients much more quickly than you can by hand.  You can still make delicious salad dressing by hand, just keep in mind the ingredients may separate in the fridge more quickly.  But just shake it up and you're good do go!
